DJ Ayla Simone is an American DJ based in Southern California. She began her career as a radio host and disc jockey, surrounded by talented DJ's who inspired her to learn and perfect her craft. Her passion for music has helped Ayla build her name in the music industry, earning residencies which include Omnia Nightclub, W Hotel, and Hard Rock Hotel to name a few. In 2017 she began a residency at Lex Nightclub inside the #1 casino in Reno Nevada, Grand Sierra Resort. A prominent DJ in the southern California nightlife and beyond, she was recently nominated for ‘Best Open Format DJ’ by the E&R Awards. Recognized by Billboard Magazine as an industry expert and also named by Riviera Magazine as the must hear DJ of the year. In addition to her club  & corporate event performances she serves as a Billboard Music reporter, helping to shape the national dance charts each week. Her exotic look and technical skill set place Ayla Simone a cut above the rest.

 

Although based in San Diego, she plays both nationwide and internationally, from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, Switzerland, Houston, to Canada and beyond. Trusted by key industry professionals and top nightclubs, she has played supporting sets for artists such as T.I,, Wocka Flocka, R Kelly, Benny Bennassi, Croatia Squad, Juicy J, Gareth Emery, Paul Oakenfold, Morgan Page, LMFAO, Fedde Le Grand, Paul Van Dyk, Dev and more. She currently holds residences at Hard Rock’s Sunburn Pool Party, Viejas Casino, The Office Bar in San Diego and Lex Nightclub. A previous resident for OMNIA San Diego, she also plays frequently at Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs among other venues.

From house music and EDM to hip hop and top 40 club mixes, she reads her audience and rocks the crowd. Her background as a singer has aided her in melodic mixing and superior song combining. Each track is carefully selected to match and build the energy in the room. From explosive Electronic Dance Music, and hip hop, to the softer sounds of deep house, she reads the crowd and tailors her mix to raise the party to new heights.
